As a filmmaker I have devoted my efforts to existential curiosities and my yearnings to learn what it is to be in the world. I’m intrigued by the yearnings of humankind. The yearning for lungs to be filled in between each exhale. Yearnings for something more than what we currently see and know. The longings that take place in between our noisy doings and both the joy and discontent that sometimes fills those spaces. My photography is not an attempt to visually portray this consciousness, but consists of evidence of my own existential yearnings collected between each inhale and exhale. For me, these images are specimens of timelessness, glimpses of a deeper presence in the world that holds more than what I currently see and know.
